"Immigrazione, violenza dell’anima" is a photographic and graphic project who explores the notion of the foreigner and the self-construction in unknown territory. Photographs, wrintings, archives and embroideries question the notion of exile through encounters. The documentary dimension of this project is combined with a plastic research and a reinterpretation of the images found in the city. Who is the stranger? In what way is exodus a human violence? This collaborative approach makes it possible to sensitively define the notion of immigration today. I made this project as part of residency artistic at Fotofabrik gallery in Berlin in 2017.
